Didn’t get ticket either, what will I miss?
I messed around and did not get my ticket either. What will I not be able to get into if I go?

the only thing you are gonna miss is some of the confusion surrounding which one of the million events you want to participate in. there is so much going on in that city during that week its gonna be tough to decide.

I'd like to try and clear up some of the confusion that has arisen regarding the 100th events..
1) Harley has made a point of NOT announcing which music groups will be performing on the Sunday at Milwaukee's lakefront. The reason for this is that they did not want fans of the group (whoever they may be) to grab all the tickets to the event. Instead they wanted the event to be for Harley fans first. The identity of the Sunday performers is a very closely guarded secret - although I'm pretty sure that they haven't signed up Eminem or Snoop Dogg. You can probably cross off the Vienna Boys Choir, the Three Tenors, Barbara Streisand, and the New York Symphony while you're at it.
2) The Sunday event is "free" - but you need a ticket to get in. The laminated pass that came with your ticket package WILL NOT get you in by itself. Don't try giving away or selling the ticket, hoping that your pass alone will get you in. It won't. The only other way to see the event would be from a boat out on Lake Michigan - and I don't think thats what most people had in mind.
3) The lakefront park where the event is held is big - but not that huge. You may want to think about going early, since it will probably fill up quickly. Hint.. hint..
4) ALL the other events you can probably get into by buying individual "day of event" tickets. This includes the H-D exhibit at the Art Museum, the H-D experience, the plant tours, etc.
5) If music and partying bikers are your thing - check out the Club Hog XX celebration to be held at Washington County fairgrounds - it sounds like a good deal. It is ONLY for HOG members, and I believe you need to make reservations. Check the HOG members site.
6) I am not aware of any scheduled "pudding wrestling"; "wet t-shirt contests"; "lingerie shows"; "Topless bike washes"; etc. However, I would be somewhat suprised if some enterprising establishment did not make such arrangements before the Celebration weekend.

And the road leading to veterans park is narrow & gets backed up easily on a normal weekend. It will be 10,000 times worse with all the riders in town.
The individual day pass is not available for sat for the summerfest grounds. No big deal, just go do that on thurs or fri when the crowds will be somewhat thinner.

you'll miss massive amounts of traffic. Parking headaches. Long lines for everything. Enhanced security. Over heated v-twin motors. Over priced food and drink. Confusion. Chaos.....

VROD DREW -
I saw this on the HD website "The Party is a free event, but due to capacity constraints, tickets will be required for entry. If you purchased a 100th Anniversary Celebration ticket package, you will not need to obtain a ticket - those with laminated Celebration tickets will already have admission to the Party. So be sure to bring your laminated Celebration ticket with you to the Party on Sunday, August 31. For those who did not purchase a Celebration ticket package, a limited number of free tickets to the Party will be made available through Harley-Davidson dealers in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, and Minnesota beginning August 13, 2003."
You indicated that the laminated pass alone will not get you in. What else is needed ? From the above sounds like you are good to go with the pass.
