Celebration Ticket Pagkages SOLD OUT

Harley-Davidson.com says Celebration Ticket Packages are SOLD OUT. Some single day admissions are available.Does this mean the moco actually has a Conscience ? Than again we do not know how many packages they have sold either. And if they went hog wild and sold a million packages. If I am not mistaken 100,000 is about the limit of Summerfest Grounds. When you get over that it is too crowded from days of going to Summerfest. The biggest thing I can suggest to anyone is if there is a day that you want to party at Summerfest Grounds get there early. It will not take long for that area to get to their limit. Summerfest used to close their gates and in order to get in someone had to leave. I do not know if the park still has that policy or not. This does not obviously include Veterans Park next door. The moco stated if you were in posession of a Celebration Ticket Package you will automatically be granted access into that park for the Celebration on August 31, 2003. Looks like they are somewhat looking after the interests of ticket buyers anyway.

Hey Osh they already have someone on there that was/is selling them. while tickets were still available he had a starting bid I think was $150.00 for 2. They did not get any bids while I was watching. I wonder why.

I just checked and there are a few sellers. One has a day left and is selling for over 175 bucks (one pass kit) Ouch I think if they start to reach 250 I will sell mine and stay home. BobT

That's probably a good idea Bob. If some damn fool will give me $500.00 for my two tickets I'd be nuts not to take the $ and run. The real party is going to be all over Milwaukee not just the Summerfest grounds. I'm just a hour south of Milwaukee so I'd be going to the street party's all over anyway.

One sold last night with a buy it now of $299! Yeah, that was for one ticket! I knew I should have bought the maximum number of tickets!

Okay, now that this ebay thing has gone crazy with tickets. I don't suppose somebody would be willing to sell me some tickets for a reasonable price??? I already got two tickets. One for me, and one for my riding buddy. However, I have a couple of other friends that decided they want to go too. I told them screw the tickets, just go have fun without them, and don't worry about getting into the summerfest grounds. Although they still want tickets if possible. I know they wouldn't pay more than $75 for them though!

Thanks,

My crew didn't all get tickets. In fact, I'm the only one that did. I considered selling mine on ebay and getting a 200% profit but I'll hold on to it. My crew isn't worried about not getting in.....we've never been refused entrance before and the tickets are only for the sanctioned HD areas.......whoopdie friggin doo.

I never even considered going to the summerfest grounds. Way too crowded & really not a whole lot going on there. Veterans park is gonna be a zoo as will Water street. I usually just ride around & check out all the tourists

I sold the parade ticket from the wifes ticket pack for 35 bucks at our HOG meeting. She said she is not sure she wants to go if there is going to be all those people.

the parade pass is non-transferrable (so I'm told)....because it has the "winners" name on it and proof of identity is supposedly required.

They are dealing with it. Not my prob.
It is red has the hologram just under the single hole for hanging it around your neck . In a white stripe there is your name and the number on either side of it. Can you see someone checking thousands of these ??? Not happening. None the less she said she was good for the deal. BobT
