parade

Please only respond to this if you have won a spot in the 100th parade. I would just like to see how many members win a spot.

Well I got my tickets today, paid for them online 041103. I thought that one of the tickets I got might be a winner to ride in the parade because last week I got two emails from Harley that my buddies didnt get. One said my tickets were in the mail. The other was a special invitation for a 100th aniversery screen saver. Well, I didnt want to be in the parade, I just want to see it. I purchased 6 tickets for me an buddies. Guess what? The guy that has an invitation to the parade is the only one of us that dosn't ride a Harley! He rides a 22 year old Yamaha! The rules say you have to have a motorcycle and a motorcycle licence, does not reqiure a Harley. They say the parade will last 3 hours and want you to be at the Milwaukee Zoo at 5am for line up. My V-ROD wouldnt go 3 hours without refueling anyway! LOL!!

My husband got into the parade, and we're not going!! If we were going, odds are he wouldn't have gotten in! I bought him the ticket just so he can have it...and he got the package today. I asked him if he got into the parade, and he had no clue what I was talking about until he looked further,...and there it was!! I am happy for him, but disappointed he isn't going...

Talking Parade Pass

Regestered the last day on line.

Recived Red Parade Pass in my ticket package,

Letter says there are only 5000 available and they are not transferable.

I bought 4 tickets - myself, my wife, a friend, and the friends wife. My friend's wife decided she didn't want to go, so he decided to take his son (10 yo). Guess who got the parade ticket?

Yup, the friend's wife.

So now she's decided to go and my friend had to tell his kid he had to stay home. Bummer!

A young guy that works for me got a parade ticket/pass in his main ticket package.

He rides an '03 Softail Standard and needless to say...he is very excited!!

Registered and not planning on going. Just wanted the ticket for a keepsake. Had a parade ticket in it. Go figure.

Too bad they're not transferable in the case of those that got 'em and aren't using 'em.
