Anyone need to ship bike from PHX to MKE for 100th?

I will post this on the general discussion forum and Southwest forum as well.

Myself and five others from Phoenix-Scottsdale are looking into arrangements to have our bike shipped from Phoenix- Milwaukee for the H-D 100th in August. We have spoken with two seperate shipping companies and both will ship for around $500 (bonded, round-trip, dropping off wherever we want in Milwaukee) if we can get a minimum of 10 bikes committed. If anyone is interested please PM me and we can discuss the details.

Without trying to be a smartass, don't you think if riding to Milwaukee was an option (which it isn't, for numerous reasons), I wouldn't have posted here to begin with?

I will take a shot as to why them guys will not ride thems bikes all the way to the 100th party It is probably what, 1500 miles or better, just try and to get 5 or 10 people to do that many miles on there bikes with out getting pi$sed at one another because of the stops not being in the right towns, some may get 40 miles per gallon, others only may get 30, I could go on for ever but all you guys know what I am trying to say Opps, just about forgot one, their a$$es would be soar :p

...another reason may be that not everyone can get away from work (or whatever) long enough to make the round trip AND have a few days to actually spend at the event! I'm looking at shipping my bike back from Milwaukee 'cause I need to get back to work. I am planning on riding it out there though.

Bingo! (Plus, recent surgery on my shoulder prohibits me from riding my bike long distances for the time being).
