Is Anyone Camping?

We have a hotel but i think we may give it to the other 2 with us and go camping. Just curious if any of you are considering this option. I heard Riders Ranch in 1998 put on a hell of a party. A hotel just seems to sedate for a rally. I wanna do some partying at a campground. We used to camp alot when we were kids in Western Wisconsin. Only bummer i see from most campgrounds is no campfires. If anyone is planning on camping post where and maybe a group of us could all get together?

Cool

In a tent in August Just to damn hot for me/us I think I was lucky to get rooms for $75 a night, only 20 miles from the event When i'm washing all the days dirt and grit off of me at the end of the day, I will think of all the campers that can't/don't have showers :p :p

Being from Florida a tent won't be that bad. The party atmosphere at Riders Ranch should be alot of fun.

After checking around for hotel rooms and looking at renting an RV (which you have to rent for 7 days) I decide that the 4 days ( I can rough it)I'm at the 100th that I would camp. Riderranch seems as though it will be a great time and a great experience.

Smile Still some sites left at Kettle Moraine South

The time is getting closer for the party. I just reserved a camping site for three nights at the Kettle Moraine South State Park campgrounds. The total cost was $40 and I will have to get a vehicle sticker that will cost $30. So the total cost for three nights for two people (or up to 6 people actually) is $70.

The campground is 37 miles southwest of Milwaukee. You can come in on 43 or 36... both great roads. I figure that right about now this is close to the best deal in town.

If you want to reserve you can do so online at:

http://www.reserveamerica.com/index.jsp

They still have several sites open at three of their four campgrounds. I'm sure they will fill very fast now since KM-South is about the closest state campground to Milwaukee.

For me 37 miles in and out each day is a lot better than 90 miles R/T!!

i got a mom and pop motel 15 minutes out for $125 a night. considered camping but with the unpredictability of the weather and amount of gear i will be leaving at a tent site every day i opted for a shower and dry bed.
